Carpet manufacturers recommend you should have your carpets cleaned at least every 12 to 18 months. A dirty carpet is an unhealthy carpet, germs, bacteria, grit, food and drink spillages are not removed by vacuuming alone. Regular cleaning will keep your carpets looking clean, healthier and increase their lifespan.

We clean carpets using the HWE method (hot water extraction) this is commonly referred to as 'steam cleaning' and is the most thorough way to deep clean and rinse away soil. We also offer the LM method, (low moisture) using the Charly pad system. This is suitable for carpeting that cannot be wet cleaned due to condition, fitting or type. LM cleaning leaves carpeting dry in 30 minutes and is the perfect maintenance method.

The Survey

An initial survey of the carpet will be undertaken to determine the structure and materials used in the carpet. This is a very important part of the process. Once the survey has been carried out any spots/stains will be identified. The technician will be able to discuss with you, the customer, the possible outcome of heavily soiled areas and stain removal. An inspection of the fixing of the carpet at its edges and the condition of the seams is then carried out – any weak or damaged seams are pointed out to you and remedial work arranged before work starts.

Prices are worked out per sq. ft. and areas that do not need to be cleaned will not be charged for. There are no hidden extras and the price you are quoted is the price you pay. The survey and quotation is absolutely free with no obligation.

The Cleaning Procedure

Following the survey, dry soil removal is the first step of the cleaning process, if dry soil is left in fabrics and carpets rapid resoiling will occur. Stains and spots are treated before a pre-spray of microsplitting agents is administered, then agitated by mechanical means which separates the soil from the fibre. The rinsing stage is then carried out using the most powerful portable machine which allows your carpet to be left slightly damp. Air movers are used where necessary to assist drying times

Please ask for details of the Carpet and Upholstery Protection available (Solugard®) using Nano technology to protect against stains and spills.
